Vacation is Almost Over

My daughter and grandsons left for home after being here with Nana and Papa for the past 2 plus weeks. It has been a busy holiday, with Santa coming to our house for the first time in years, and all our children and grandchildren here during a large part of our holiday. The house is quiet tonight, and I truly didn't think that quiet would sound so SAD!! Love my children and grandchildren with all my heart!!!!

Lesson Complete

OK, so lesson 2 and 3 complete in new software, now to rest the brain, and quilt. All is so quiet in the house this morning. Husband and 1 grandson hunting again today, and oldest grandson sleeping!!

January 2, 2106

Ready for lesson 2 on my ArtnStitch software. Taking the plunge this year, and really working to become a good longarm quilter. It is not always easy, as being wife, Mom to 3, and Nana to 8, as well as daughter to my 88 year old Mom will always take first priority over my sewing. But I wouldn't have it any other way! They each influence and inspire me in so many ways.
So off to the sewing room I go!
